Somm Summ 12-21-12: Beaux Freres The Upper Terrace Pinot Noir, 2010

Popped this open tonight. Spicy resiny like nose with briary berries and fleshy cherries. Palate is rich, med plus weight, delicate and smooth though. Rich berries flavors with some earthy briar tones. Smooth, medium acid finish.  Good length. Quite tasty.
Check plus, plus. Maybe better as I get into it, we'll see. Having with Chinese take-out.
