Somm Summ 12-21-12: 2009 Seven of Hearts Pinot Noir, Willamette Valley, Ore

Closed nose when first opened, aromas are of mellow cherries and some minerally earth. Very smooth and delicate on the palate; tannins are almost non existent, just smooth fruit. Tastes of dry, but smooth, cherries and red fruits. Finish is smooth and easy, not too expressive but good.
