Well, Yeah - A Proper Glass will Give You Maximium Enjoyment!

For a longtime, those of us in the wine business have been saying that it is obvious that a narrowglass will not give the same aromatic quality of the wine inside as a wider bowl shaped glass. Being able to swirl and release the volatile compounds that we actually interact with to get a sense of smell is something that will not happen as easily if you are using a very narrow flute.

But its tradition!  Bull-dookey. Just get over the flute and enjoy the Champagne for what it is - wine, and wine is best in a glass.
