Finally, you can buy real beer in Kansas - sort of

It’s a bit amazing that we are still talking about, let alone revamping, laws from the era of Prohibition, but that is the reality in this country where things are often ridiculously backwards.

The randomly legal limit of 3.2 percent alcohol (by weight) has now been lifted in Kansas, but only to 6%. That will allow a lot more selections, but basically limits a wide range of craft brews and the ever popular craft IPA. I guess we won’t be finding many East/West Coast IPAs in this state anytime soon.
