3/11 - Wine Class @ Blue Heron

This is the second of seven classes I will be hosting this Winter/Spring at the Blue Heron – our focus this session is to dive deeper into the terroir of the various wines regions and compare style differences based on geography. This week’s focus will be on Pinot Noir from California, Oregon, France and New Zealand.

3/14 – Cono Sur Wines Store Tasting
Westside Wines, West Hartford, CT
Taste the selection from Cono Sur Winery – Chile’s first Carbon-Neutral winery and the leading producer of Pinot Noir in S. America – they also make a lot of other great and affordable varietals.

3/16 – South Africa Tasting & Master Class
Presented by Manchester W&L at the Adam’s Mill Restaurant, 165 Adams ST
Join us for the monthly MWL “backroom” tasting, where we explore the wines and regions of South Africa. I will be drawing upon my first hand experience, photos and great portfolio of wines to bring everyone up to date on what is happening in this great wine producing region.

3/30 – Argentine Wine Dinner Featuring the Wines of Michel Torino
Max Fish, Glastonbury
Join Mark Raymond of Frederick Wildman & Sons Importers as he guides you through the tremendous wines of the 100+ year old winey, Michel Torino Estate. Mark’s family is from Argentina so this event will have an authentic touch as he relates his personal experiences of this beautiful country.
